Project Overview

A 6 week solo project with the chosen brief of ‘Stealth’ (A game with atleast a stealth mechanic). This project focuses on further developing skills on coding (C#) and many design challenges, dealing with over-scoped features.

With the concept of this brief, I decided to challenge myself to something new and unfamiliar by learning to work with physics using ragdoll.

About

Client Game Concept

The Drunken Thief

Play as a drunken thief where the player is tasked with stealing as much loot as possible before the timer runs out. However, due to the obsession of drinking, the player will be impaired and will have difficulties navigating the area. The player will also need to be wary of nearby people as well as themselves as they will be alerted when spotted by them.

Original Concept

Play as a drunken thief where the player is tasked with stealing as much loot as possible before sunrise. However, due to the obsession of drinking, the player will be impaired and will have difficulties navigating the area. The player will also need to be wary of nearby people as well as themselves as they will be alerted to the sound of the ruckus.

Gameplay

A third-person single player ragdoll game where the player attempts to steal items around the area without getting caught.

The player will need to be careful when navigating through their environment as bumping and/or knocking items over will cause traversing around the area to be more difficult and a higher risk of being caught.

The player will need to bring enough items of value before the time runs out.
